Commission Pricing
If you’re here, you’re probably thinking about commissioning a painting. I create original paintings for people who want something personal and made just for them.
Commissions are based on your ideas, references, or a place you love, with clear pricing based on the finished size.
Original Painting Commissions
Commission pricing is calculated on a per square inch basis, with rates decreasing as painting size increases.
Per Square Inch Rates
Up to 150 square inches
$3.75 per square inch
151–400 square inches
$3.00 per square inch
401–900 square inches
$2.50 per square inch
Over 900 square inches
$2.10 per square inch
Square inches are calculated by multiplying the height by the width of the canvas.
Final pricing is determined by canvas size and overall composition. Highly detailed architectural or multi element compositions may be priced at the upper end of the range.
A quote will be confirmed before work begins.
Example:
An 8 × 10 inch painting is priced at $300.
An 20 × 24 inch painting is priced at $1,200.
Digital Commissions
I also offer custom digital illustrations. Digital commissions are ideal for gifts, prints, or personal keepsakes.
Pricing is based on the level of detail and how the artwork will be used.

Printing (Optional)
Printed versions of digital commissions are available upon request.
All prints are produced as archival giclée prints on fine art paper and shipped unframed.
• 8 × 10 giclée print: $45
• 11 × 14 giclée print: $65
• 16 × 20 giclée print: $110
Digital commissions are for personal use only unless otherwise agreed. Commercial usage or licensing is available upon request.
A deposit may be required for commissions. Turnaround time varies by size and current workload. Most commissions require several weeks to complete. Completion times vary, and while I strive to work efficiently, high-quality artwork takes time. If you have a specific deadline, please reach out in advance to discuss a realistic timeframe.
